Export subroutine

Users with the 'Export' permission can right-click a subroutine and select the export option to download it as a file. The exported subroutine can later be imported into another system. Note: exports should not be used for archiving, as newer system versions may not support older export files.

To export a subroutine as a downloadable file, accounts having the "Export" permission can right-click on a subroutine and choose this menu option:

Your browser will download a file containing the subroutine. This file can later be imported into a system. See Importing an automation. 

Important: Do not use subroutine exports as an archive mechanism!

New system releases may not support old versions of exported files.
