# Default automation settings

## Learn how to configure default settings in APIANT to automatically apply preferred options when building new automations, improving setup efficiency and consistency.

Certain defaults can be configured to use when building new automations. The defaults are found via the Settings options under your account menu at the top right:

These defaults will be applied to newly built automations:
