Data Transforms

Learn how to use data transform actions in APIANT to convert or manipulate data formats—such as datetimes—by selecting categorized transform options from the automation editor’s menu.

Data values often need to be converted from one format to another, or manipulated in some fashion, in order to be in a format needed by a certain action input. A common data formatting problem is for datetimes.

The system provides a variety of data transform actions, accessible by clicking the "plus" icon:

Selecting that menu option opens a new menu of transforms categorized by the type of data:

Select a category to then view the available actions. Each action can be moused over for a description of its functionality:
